1. Overview
FOMI respects your privacy and collects information needed to operate, secure, support, improve, bill, and provide the service.
This Privacy Policy describes how FOMI LLC processes information through fomi.trade, the FOMI application, support, billing flows, notifications, exchange integrations, chart snapshots, Guardian features, and related services.
2. Information We Process
Account and identity data may include your email address, name or profile fields you provide, password-authentication records, MFA records, verification state, support communications, and account status.
Device, security, and usage data may include IP address, user agent, device and request metadata, session data, cookie data, logs, rate-limit records, security events, product activity, feature usage, notification settings, and operational metrics.
Trading-related data may include connected exchange identifiers, encrypted exchange API credentials, account balances, instruments, tickers, open orders, positions, executions, trade outcomes, risk settings, checklist state, price alerts, Guardian status, chart drawings, chart preferences, chart snapshots, and shared snapshot links.
Billing data may include Stripe customer, checkout, subscription, invoice, payment-status, tax, chargeback, fraud-prevention, billing-portal, reconciliation, and webhook records. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by FOMI.
User Content may include chart annotations, drawings, uploaded checklist images, snapshot images, notes, support messages, and other content you submit or generate.
3. Sources of Information
FOMI receives information directly from you, from your device or browser, from your use of the service, from connected exchanges and providers you authorize, from Stripe, from email and support providers, and from security, hosting, analytics, and operational systems.
4. How Data Is Used
FOMI uses information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, provide support, process billing, manage subscriptions, connect exchanges, display account state, support trading workflows, provide alerts, operate Guardian automation, generate chart snapshots, maintain audit records, prevent fraud and abuse, debug failures, improve reliability, comply with law, and protect users and the platform.
Automated Guardian and alert features may process market, order, position, execution, and risk-rule data to decide whether to notify you or submit supported risk-reduction instructions.
FOMI may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, reliability, product improvement, security, and business planning, provided the information does not identify you.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
FOMI uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, performance, analytics, and service operation.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling required cookies may prevent login, billing, security, or application features from working.
6. Sharing and Service Providers
FOMI does not sell your personal information for money. FOMI shares information only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect rights and safety, complete transactions, investigate abuse, or support a business transfer such as financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Service providers may include hosting and database providers, payment processors such as Stripe, email providers, analytics and error-monitoring providers, customer-support tools, security tools, and connected exchange/provider services.
Connected exchanges and providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. You should review those policies before connecting accounts.
7. Sensitive Trading and Credential Data
Exchange credentials are encrypted at rest and used to provide exchange connectivity and authorized service features. Users should configure exchange API permissions with the minimum access required and should not grant withdrawal permissions.
Trading balances, positions, executions, orders, risk settings, and performance records may reveal sensitive financial behavior. FOMI uses this data to provide requested features, security, support, billing, compliance, reliability, and platform operations.
8. Retention, Export, and Deletion
FOMI retains account, billing, security, trading, alert, worker, webhook, and audit records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, investigate failures, resolve disputes, and protect users and the platform.
Chart snapshot share links expire by default and can be revoked. Snapshot images and trading records may remain attached to account history unless deleted under an applicable retention or account-deletion workflow.
You may request account export or deletion through the application where available or by contacting support. Local FOMI-controlled account data may be deleted or anonymized, but some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, billing, security, anti-abuse, dispute, backup, audit, or operational-integrity reasons.
Stripe, exchanges, and other third parties may retain information under their own legal, accounting, tax, chargeback, fraud-prevention, security, and compliance obligations.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, opt-out of certain processing, or appeal of a denied request.
To exercise privacy rights, contact support@fomi.trade. FOMI may need to verify your identity and account authority before fulfilling a request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.
FOMI will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, but some requests may limit or prevent FOMI from providing parts of the service.
10. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
FOMI does not sell personal information for money. If FOMI uses advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies that are considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, FOMI will provide required notices and opt-out methods.
Where legally required, FOMI will honor recognized opt-out preference signals for applicable browser or device-based choices.
11. Security
FOMI uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted exchange credentials and security controls for authentication and sessions.
No system, network, provider, or storage method is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your devices, passwords, MFA, exchange accounts, API keys, and account activity.
FOMI will provide security-incident notices where required by applicable law.
12. International Use
FOMI is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other locations where FOMI or its service providers operate.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of FOMI and connected exchanges is lawful in your jurisdiction.
13. Children
The service is not directed to children or minors. You must be at least 18 years old to use FOMI.
FOMI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to FOMI, contact support@fomi.trade so FOMI can review and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to This Policy
FOMI may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date will identify the latest version.
Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy, email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method where required.
